Think about it….long hair is uncomfortable, especially in climates where it is hot already! Technology for tools and clothing has drastically improved but people are the same. Just because it was two thousand years ago does not mean hair cuts and baths were not invented.

What I mean 
by an unleavened life is not limited to the obvious. What should be included is the leavening agents at the root of sin. The very essence of what causes your sin. Removing these things that cause the repetitive insanity of your own personal sins.
A little leaven leavens the whole lump (Galatians 5:7-10). The catalyst that rises up within your mind kneading you into sin. For some there is great anguish associated with the process of becoming an unleavened Christian.
If your sin is deeply rooted in your past it can take a lot of work to bring those tiny bubbles to the surface and expose them. There are also surface sins you continue to ignore and procrastinate about. These slowly burn deep into your life impeding your spiritual growth.
